Rainsford Financial Planning was established in 2016 by Damon Rainsford, an experienced Chartered Financial Planner.  Damon ran the Great Shelford, Cambridge branch of IFA and Stockbroking firm Edward Jones until it was taken over by the national advice firm Towry in 2009.  After spending 5 years with Towry he joined wealth management firm Hannay Robertson before deciding to set up his own practice.

Rainsford Financial Planning is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Holding Chartered status means Damon has attained and continues to maintain one of the highest and most prestigious levels of professional achievement.   He is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (part of the Chartered Insurance Institute) and an Affiliate of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI).  ​
